There are many gods with a small g. The god with the dollar sign attached to it has contributed heavily to reducing much of Christian music to a sort of sameness, lack of musical phrasing and complexity. Much of it is very recognizable pop music phrases redone. As far as the music goes, there even seems to be a near elimination of melody in some of the present-day worship.
