In my opinion, for Phil it was reckless abandon. I don't think he played crazy golf. But when your eye sees a shot and you hit it, it's a lot of fun. When you don't hit it, you've made a mistake. He may have lost a few tournaments by doing that, but he has won a few by doing it, too. It's just when you try to do it in a major, it can backfire pretty quickly. Fred Couples
